Once you and Dr. Harrison have discussed and agreed on the need for surgery, a surgical consent form will need to be signed for the surgical procedure to be performed.

Next, our surgical scheduler will review your insurance and work on the required pre-authorization. Pre-authorization does not guarantee payment of services (insurance disclaimer). If issues arise, you will be contacted; if not, surgery will go through as planned. It is your responsibility to know your benefits (deductible, copays, etc.) and call your insurance to determine your out-of-pocket expenses.

Once the surgical scheduler has approval, a surgery date will be selected and you will receive a surgical information packet. Dr. Harrison operates at the two below facilities, depending on your insurance.

If your insurance does not cover our facility, you may check if you have a “swing out” option that allows you to be treated at the center. Our billing staff can assist you with finding financial solutions for you needs. If payment arrangements cannot be made, surgery may need to be rescheduled at another facility with a different provider.
