Intermountain Orthopedics & Sports Medicine McKay Dee is located at 3895 Harrison Boulevard in Ogden, Utah. It is directly across the street from Weber State University.

A referral is helpful but not required. Please call our office directly to determine the best medical care provider for your injury.

Please bring your medical insurance information, driver’s license or valid ID, Referral letter, list of medications, and any test results preferably on a disk (X-rays, MRI’s, CT scans).

The post-operative period will vary depending on your surgery and type of work you perform. An average amount of time off is around 2 weeks.

It will vary from days to weeks and will depend on your specific surgery and recover. The hospital requires all surgical patients to have a driver from the hospital.

Physical therapy may be recommended by your physician. If physical therapy is required, our team will help find a therapist that will fit your needs.

Your physician and physical therapist will begin you on exercises the day of surgery. Range of motion and strengthening exercises will progress based on the physician’s protocol and the patient’s response to exercise.
